The PADI Rescue Diver Course

Often described as the best dive course you will ever take, this course expands on the skills you have already learnt and on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.

"Challenging" and "rewarding" best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course; it is certainly hard work but well worth the effort. But it’s not all work, as with all PADI courses, they are designed to be exciting, enjoyable and fun and the Rescue Diver course is no exception. The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding but at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.

At Cornish Diving College we strongly promote the more the merrier approach to Rescue Diver. We truly believe that to get the most out of this course there needs to be at least 3 participants, but we always aim for more to ensure that the course provides realistic scenarios to practice and hone newly learned rescue techniques.

The Learning Materials You Need

The PADI Rescue Diver manual and Accident Management slate provide everything you need to complete the PADI Rescue Diver course. As with all of our courses, the required materials are included in the course cost.

Remember the Once your Rescue Diver course is complete, you can review the DVD to refresh your dive safety skills as needed.

Prerequisites

• To enrol in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be a PADI Adventure Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organization).
• You must have been trained for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (we provide the fist aid course for anyone requiring first aid training).
• Completion of all knowledge reviews prior to starting the course.
