While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in a swimming pool, and then, if you have booked the gold experience, all being well, it’s into the sea for a dive where you get to start your exploration of the underwater world.

Once tried, never forgotten and there is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time.

Plus, your experience then counts towards your PADI Open Water Diver certification, putting you a step ahead of the game when you decide to go for it and better still, when you sign up for the Open Water course with Cornish Diving College we will credit half of the Discover Scuba Diving fees, saving you money as well

What You Learn:

You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. You will:

• Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it.
• Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learn whether you can be comfortable there.
• Learn some basic skills and safety rules that will certainly help towards your Open Water Course if you decide to carry on with diving.
