The Advanced Open Water course can follow on from your Open Water Diver course and is designed to help by increasing your confidence and further developing your scuba skills to enable you to become more comfortable in the water. 

This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor.  This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and gain more confidence.

Each Adventure Dive may be credited toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty course or each Specialty course can count towards your Advanced Open Water certification. Whichever route you chose, this means you can be well on your path to becoming a Master Scuba Diver.

Prerequisites

• To take the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organization).
• The minimum ages are 10 years old for a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver and 15 for Advanced Open Water Diver.
• Complete the knowledge reviews for each of the dives to be completed.
